2001 BMW E39 M5 LEMANS BLUE ON LEMANS BLUE/BLACK SPORT ROLLER 173K MI NO RESERVE Up for auction is a 2001 BMW M5 Roller. Already a classic, this M5 is finished in Lemans Blue Metallic with Lemans Blue/Black Sport Interior. The roller has 173,xxx miles. This is my Clean Title 2001 M5 that I decided to part out vs selling as a whole. The car was perfectly running and has never been in any accidents. Please look at all the pictures including the album to see what is included with the car. The car also doesn’t have the differential or driveshaft or exhaust amongst the other obvious items you can see from the pictures (e.g. NO ENGINE TRANSMISSION Alcantara Interior parts etc) Condition : Exterior : This car has all the original VIN tags and has not been in any accident. The roller is in nice shape for the mileage. NO RUST on the car aside from a surface rust spot the size of dime on the roof see the picture. There’s some light scratches on the driver quarter panel that can be buffed out. There are dings on the driver rear door and on the passenger side. All the dings can be removed with PDR. The headlights are hazy but can be brought back to new by buying any one of the headlight cleaning kits on the market (these go for 20 dollars at your local auto parts store or online). The Style 65 OEM M5 Wheels were plasti-dipped and the finish is coming off (specifically on 1 of the wheels). The front bumper has a crack in it. It can be fixed and repainted. See the picture album for pics of the imperfections on the car. Interior : The interior is in nice shape. The steering wheel needs to be dyed. The seats and door panels are in good shape the rear bottom bench could benefit from being dyed. The sport interiors on these cars generally hold up well. This roller represents a great purchase. BMW imported 10,000 E39 M5’s to the US and there’s around 6500 left on the road. The values of e39 M5’s are rising and will continue to do so following the trends of other great M cars (e30 m3, M Coupe, etc). The parts that remain on the roller easily exceed the starting bid and buy it now price. You could keep the shell to use later on and sell the parts off and make money. I have a clean Florida title in hand. The mileage is Exempt since the car is over 10 years old.
