Regrettably selling my 2005 manual Subaru Forester XS as-is, with front end body damage from a collision. Unfortunately the car hit a deer, and I am selling it because I'm in a bind and can't afford to fix it. 2005 Subaru Forester XS AWD 2.5L H-4 engine 5 speed manual transmission130,000 milesVIN # JF1SG65695G716436I am not a mechanic or auto body expert so I am not sure what the extent of the damage is, but the car seems to need new headlights, grill, a hood, a radiator, and possibly other things I can't see or don't know about... It is wrecked but is possibly rebuildable. It was towed via flatbed so the All Wheel Drive should be fine, and was not driven after the accident to try to avoid any overheated. The engine turned on after when tested after the accident. Airbags did not deploy. The car has fairly low miles at 130k. It has a 5 speed standard transmission. It is the nicer trim level XS model. It has a sunroof and heated seats. I just had breaks done. The tires have lots of life left. The clutch was working well. Timing belt was good. Head gasket was solid. The car was clean and in great shape otherwise for a car of this age. This would make for a great project for someone to repair for themself or to sell or use as a parts car. I am not sure as to the extent of the damage. See photos. I would not recommend driving it in the current damaged condition. The car is sold as-is with no warranty, and no returns are accepted. It is located in Phoenecia, NY 12464. Local pickup only. Buyer is responsible for towing and moving car. Buyer is responsible for any storage fees accumulated at the lot where it is parked after winning auction. You must pick it up and tow it within 5 days of the end of the auction or make other arrangements with seller. A $500 deposit required from winner within 48 hrs of end auction.
