This mustang has been part of my personal collection of classics for some time now. It is a very nice and restored mustang. The engine is a 289cid v8 A code with 225hp. The car is a legit GT convertible and I was told by... the previous owner and documentation he gave me inlcuding a whole condition report from a new car ford dealership showing it in excellent condition, articles inlduing jim smart and jim haskell mustangs registry and history etc that it was the second to last A code mustang gt convertibles to roll off the line in 66. neat stuff and history and far too much to list here but it all comes with the sale. I bought it with most of the shelby tribute done (new hood,door was replaced at one time, lower gt-350 stripe,) after I had it and used it for a season, I added the shelby roll bar, had carol shelby sign a cobra glove box and installed it (original wood grain Gt one comes with the sale) received a shelby corp. canceled check to ford for a 65 mustang they converted (pictured in frame) I installed new cobra badges (original GT badges come with sale) and upgraded to a modern vintage looking radio (original radio comes with sale). If you would choose to go back to all GT, it would be very easily done but in my opinion, what makes this car so special is that it is one of the best looking mustang GT-350 convertible tributes I have seen. Really done to a nice level. I have personally driven the car on trips 30-300 miles long. it handles and drives really nicely. you will not believe how many head turns and thumbs ups and wows you see from other cars going by. this mustang had a 5 speed installed in it at one time, really nice as it gives you that extra freeway gear. tires look very good. cragar wheels look great and shine nice. The 289 A code engine runs great with no knocks misses etc. always fires right up. the fog lights work great. the car has a deluxe pony interior. This car comes with a center aftermarket custom drink holder center console cover (pictured) i never used it as i like to the original one that is pictured but nice for a longer trip and to protect the original center console. this car has factory a/c. the windows roll up and down fine. the rear driver one works but you have to help it half way up. The power top goes up and down well. i never drove it in the rain but you may want to update rubber seals along the windshield. does not leak when i wash it etc. underside looks good. the radio plays great. really just a nice restored mustang GT convertible you can use right away and have fun with. one of the nicer looking cars in my collection and definitely one of a kind with all of the extra shelby stuff. I do not want to over call it or under call it, i am only selling it as i want to turn some faces in my collection. I require a 200 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. if i do not get the deposit before you come for it or within the time frame i will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it.
