Rare 1989 Toyota Corolla SR5 coupe. Body is overall good except 2 small rust holes in fenders. Carpet needs replaced and dash is cracked but seats and headlining are in good shape with no tears. Everything in it including the flip up lights seem to work, undercarriage doesn't look rusted and the tires are decent. Mechanically, the engine is a 1.6 single cam 16 valve 4 cylinder and is completely shot. May have been overheated, has antifreeze in the oil, we think the block is cracked. It will start and move but runs rough. We had it checked out by a Toyota dealership recently. They stated that it also needs a CV axle on the passenger side and has "catastrophic engine failure". This is a rare and decent old car for parts/restoration. Mileage reads 193,000. Definitely not a driver as is! Thanks for looking!
