Offered with no reserve is this 2002 Mercedes Benz S430 in immaculate condition both inside and out. It's averaged just a bit over 10,000 miles a year at 168,795, is in excellent mechanical condition and comes complete with full service records. It's been garaged at least since I've owned it and is free of rust. At Sweet 16, the beautiful original black metallic fleck paint job is finally starting to show some wear, but is not in need of any immediate attention...except for perhaps a good detailing. Although this car is registered as an S430 model, it was retrofitted by a previous owner with S55 AMG Kompressor badges, OEM custom wheels, lights, tailpipes and bumpers, so it has all the bells and whistles of an S55 without the 5.5 liter engine. It is, however, the fastest car I've ever driven even with its 4.3 liter power plant. I've owned the car since September 2014, and it has one known issue...its SRS warning light is 'on' unless there's someone sitting in the passenger seat. The pressure switch in that seat is faulty and to me not worth the $600+ to make work 100 percent of the time. The interior is otherwise in near-perfect condition, and all options function including the excellent Bose sound system, dual-zone climate control, and heated electronic memory seats. This car is absolutely elegant, sold new for $71,000+, and is still a head turner even at its advanced age.
