This is a relisting of my 1961 VW beetle that was up for auction about 10 days ago. THIS IS DUE TO A BUYER BY THE NAME OF REYALPIZAR FROM HIALEAH FLORIDA WINNING THE PREVIOUS AUCTION AS THE HIGHEST BIDDER AND REFUSING TO PAY. I got this beetle in the hope of restoring it one day by doing some of the body work and installing the interior, but right now I don’t have the time. It does need some body work in some spots. Mechanically the car is perfect. It has a 1600cc engine with original German heads. I got this car from a friend of mine who bought it from the original owner. Starts right up and drives real nice. You could drive it as you restore it or keep it as it is. I could pull and sell the engine and transmission and get back the money I paid for the car, but I would rather sell it to someone that would want a 61 beetle that needs some love. Transmission is basically like new, shifts great with zero problems what so ever. I can guarantee you’ll be surprised and satisfied with how this car drives. All the gauges work including the wipers. The winning bidder can contact me and I’ll be more than happy to help with where exactly to get all the necessary items needed to complete this beetle. 61 is a rather rare year for anyone that knows Volkswagens, and you won’t find that many out there. Terms of Sale 1) Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. 2) A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end. 3) Payment can be made by wire transfer, cashier’s check, personal check, pay pal or cash in person. All funds will be verified during normal business hours prior to title transfer. 4) Upon verification of funds, the title of the vehicle will be signed over and sent to the buyer. 5) If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.6) Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle.
