2000 Porsche Boxster|2000 Porsche Boxster Base This vehicle is being re-listed due to non-payment. Please read the below BEFORE BIDDING. If you lack integrity and have no intention of buying the car and picking it up, don't bid on it. I had a lot of questions from folks about how much work this car needs blah-blah. This is an inspected car that you can drive daily. This is not a project car sitting on blocks. If you think $3k is a lot of money for a used Porsche, you should probably look at Fords. Additionally, if mechanical things keep you (or your spouse) up at night, please look into a Honda or Toyota. Porsche is a great car and this one has been very dependable, but it is not bullet proof. The smart buyer will ship this car home and have a thorough inspection done prior to taking off on a 2000 mile road trip. If you choose to drive this car home, any risk or expense incurred on your trip home is at your cost and discretion. Prior to departure I will require proof of insurance and a copy of your insurance card for this vehicle. Please don't waste my time offering me chump bids offline. I can reap a bigger tax benefit giving the car to charity. If you choose to buy this car offline (locally), the price will be equal to the current bid price when you pay. Please Note: A deposit of $500 is due in 48 Hours. It is your responsibility to inspect the car before hand or accept as is and take delivery. You may stop by any time during the auction. This deposit is NOT refundable. I will be UNAVAILABLE between 6/28 and 7/8 for pickup, so plan accordingly. This car has a June 2018 PA inspection. If the buyer is living in PA, it's inspection time. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. If you make a bid and your shoes start to feel tight, please retract it. This car will be sold to the highest bidder and the first money. If you are one of those folks that simply must drive a car prior to purchase, bring your cash and your insurance card and I'll hold them for you. If you scratch-a my car, I keep-a your cash. Happy Bidding. The Good: Great 150k driver with good manners. Starts, runs, drives and shifts as expected. No surprises. This car has the 5-Speed gearbox whose 5th gear ratio is actually lower than the 6-Speed jobs. The gearbox ratio in the Boxer is near perfect for all types of driving. Convertible top and tires in good Condition. Tire tread is 50% or better. A/C blows cold. Battery and Coolant tank replaced in the last 3 years. 180F thermostat to keep you cool in traffic. This car will not cost you a fortune, but you'll want to be driving it this summer. The clutch was replaced at 80k. I did not change the plate. It is stock. The clutch was fine, I changed it as preventative maintenance. I'll be glad to work with you and your shipper to facilitate transportation. Oil and Filter changed 6/24/18. Ready to go. No oil leaks. The Not so Good. The paint job is tired and in need of a updating. It is oxidized. No rust. While the drivers bottom cushion has been replaced, both seats could use a refresh. If you leave this car out in the rain, the floor carpets will get wet. It has lived in the garage all it's life. The passenger window sensor need to be replaced or cleaned. It does not drop the window when the door handle is raised. This car does not have Cruise Control. Porsche did not build these to replace the SUV on long trips. This car was stolen when quite new and was given a CA salvage title when recovered. It now has a PA reconstructed title. This car has lots of miles and will never be a 5 or 6 figure show car, but you'll have more fun driving it then the 6 figure job.
