Thank you for viewing my listing on this fantastic and special Turbo 4runner. This vehicle has been owned and under the same ownership since 1986 When it was purchased new from Century Toyota in Wallingford, CT (now Toyota of Wallingford). It was special ordered and owned and maintained by a Toyota tech. The vehicle the past 12 years was put into long term storage, all fluids drained and put up on stands. Recently $1200 was spent bringing all the maintenance up to date on the truck, getting the fluids added back in, and installing a new set of tires. The Turbo 4runner starts, runs, and drives as you would expect of a low mile truck. The turbo spools flawlessly without hesitation and provides power the standard 22R motor could not. This turbo spec'd 22R-TE motor puts out 21hp and 33ft lbs of torque over its naturally aspirated variant. The motor is tight and does not smoke whatsoever. Interior: The inside of this truck was always cared for, the seats and carpet look incredible and almost unused. All the original equipment is included down the jack and window sticker. This Sr5 even has heating and ventilation controls for the rear seat passengers. There are no strange smells, there is no mold damage, no mouse nests, ect. This thing is a true time capsule on the inside. All of the gauges work correctly, the a/c blows ice cold, all the switches work and function, there is only slight but normal wear on the center console armrest but honestly negligible. The cassette player works, the power antenna works, however there is an issue with reception (this issue may be resolved prior to sale). The trunk area is like new and very clean as well. No rattles or loose parts, no headliner drooping ect. Very clean and all there. Floor mats are clean and plush. Exterior: The outside of this 4Runner is stunning. There is no rust, no unusual discoloration, the rockers, door bottoms, floor pans are all solid. This truck looks like it lived in Arizona or California underneath. The headlights/taillights are clean and clear. All of the glass on the truck is clean and not scratched/pitted/or damaged. There are no dents or damage to note. The decals provide a nice contrast on it and are in excellent condition as you can see. Including a spare set of decals as well. You will also get the originally purchased car cover to protect your investment along with some touch up paint. The engine bay is clean and in good shape, it has some dust on it, I chose not to hose it down and grease it up with armor all to make it look fancy for photos. Mechanical and Driving: This 4Runner starts quickly, comes down to idle nicely, and runs through the rpm range very smoothly all while making those turbo noises that make it that much more fun to drive. It tracks straight and square down the road, there are no rattles/vibrations/shakes throught the suspension and steering system. The transmission shifts from gear to gear not missing a beat, does not slip or harshly engage. Just right. The brakes work well, bringing this truck to a stop without pulling or vibration. The rotors are not warped, ect. The tires on the truck have maybe 50 miles of use on them. There are no check engine lights or any issues with the truck mechanically.
