Vehicle Detail
2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado Red with beige interior. 128,014 original miles small block V8. Body is in great shape, small scratch driver side front fender. No rust. AS IS. Runs well, needs a tune up, one rear brake line needs replaced and some electrical work done under the hood. I have owned this jeep since 2005 when I purchased it with 38,000 miles. My wife has driven this Jeep since. So she averaged just under 7,000 miles a year. Transmission was replaced at 89,000 miles. Interior will need detailing but should clean up okay. Tire are almost new. Its will be well worth it with the great body and low miles on this small block V8 to fix this up. Love the horse power!! Free and clear title. On Jun-19-18 at 12:40:13 PDT, seller added the following information: As of today, 6/19/2018, I have had a few bidders ask questions. I don't believe these are showing on the listing and wanted to make sure I was completely transparent with this sale. See below and feel free to send me your questions. From - b**************w: Q - Can you be a little more specific about the needed electrical work? Brake line rusted threw and leaking so it currently has no brakes? Thanks A - The brakes still work but the driver side rear is leaking and will fail in time. As far as the electrical work. About six months ago the Jeep sat for two months while my wife was out of work. A squirrel took up residences in the front fender and chewed some wires and they need to be repaired. I don’t know how to do any electrical work. Hope this helps. Thanks. From - b**************w: Q - Does the needed electrical work effect the way it runs, is it able to be driven? Thank you A - Yes it run and can be driven but with the rear brake line leaking I would not recommend driving it too far if at all. From - b*****t Q - Hello, can you verify if this is 4wd or all wheel drive? You have it lsted as AWD. Thank you A - It is All Wheel Drive (AWD) On Jun-21-18 at 07:56:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Another question from 6/21/2018 b*****r Q – Are there any dash lights showing because of the electrical or brake work that needs to be done, "Check Engine" etc..? A – Yes, the “ABS” light is on, for good reason, the brake line is leaking. I also had a code saying the #3 Coil was bad, replaced #3 coil, and the code was still there so the mechanic said it was due to dirty fuel injectors which can send a false "Coil Bad Code". Which makes sense since the Jeep was driven on smaller trips which I have been told can cause build up on the injectors more. On Jun-21-18 at 08:25:25 PDT, seller added the following information: t*********: Q - has this car been in a flood. or has water damage please let me know A - No the Jeep has not been in a flood or have water damage. Click on the Vehicle History Report on the listing. The Jeep was purchased in Joppa, Md. and then I purchased it in White Marsh, Md. and it has been in Maryland since. Thanks,Paul
