Selling my numbers matching 1969 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport 396 (L-35) that I completed a Frame-Off restoration to stock original condition with very few deviations. Restoration completed in mid-June 2017. I have a binder with NC Title history and pictures of the restoration process, as well as the boxes from the GM parts used. The engine is the original VIN stamped 396/325hp (L-35) with the correct stock iron intake manifold, period correct Quadrajet carb, and original air cleaner. The points distributor has been upgraded with a Lectric Limited electronic conversion kit and the cam was changed to a Comp Cams flat tappet hydraulic (280H). Bottom end is upgraded with a steel crankshaft (6223), HD connecting rods with 7/16 rod bolts, forged 2242 .030 pistons, and a double roller timing gear and chain. Stock oval port heads with AIR exhaust manifolds and chambered exhaust system with Resonators and Chrome tips. A new 11 inch Zoom clutch kit behind the original 621 bell housing is connected to the original VIN stamped Muncie HD 3 speed (MC1) transmission and Muncie shifter and production correct shifter boot. The rearend is the original CW coded 12 Bolt non-posi with 3.31 gears. Body was repaired from years of neglect with GM fenders, GM full quarter panels and an AMD one piece trunk floor installed. Painted the correct Garnet Red (52-52) with Black side stripes (D96) and looks amazing and the car has beautiful body gaps and easy to close original GM doors. All the weather stripping has been replaced and all the original moldings were all professionally polished. The door, quarter and rear glass are the original parts and have some minor scratches and blemishes from age. The interior is Medium Red (787) with bench seat and floor mounted shifter. Replaced/recovered front/rear bench seats, installed door panels and carpet, new headliner, new dash bezel, new rear door panels, new rear seat cover, new package tray panel/insulation, new dash bezel. Added Dynamat sound deadener and a rosewood steering wheel. Installed working AM radio. New NOS rear red floor mats are included. The dash pad has one small crack above the dash and the clock does not work. GM 14 inch Super Sport wheels are installed, they have later dates (9-6 YA) but are correct for the chevelle. It could use a new set of Radial tires to make it a cruiser as the current bias tires are vintage but they look great on the car. Car was restored using several Original GM parts correct for the car when ever possible. Engine is runs good, no leaks. Every nut and bolt on the car has been refurbished or replaced, same as the mechanicals. Installed New fuel pump and NOS filter, rebuilt water pump, New correct big block power steering pump, New Brake lines, new master cylinder and hold-off valve, new Gas tank & sending unit, four core radiator, new AIR system (emissions) on the exhaust manifolds. This car has a clear North Carolina Title in my name. Chevelle is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Any shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
