For sale is my 1961 original German beetle. I got this beetle in the hope of restoring it one day by doing some of the body work and installing the interior, but right now I don’t have the time. It does need some body work in some spots. Mechanically the car is perfect. It has a 1600cc engine with original German heads. I got this car from a friend of mine who bought it from the original owner. Starts right up and drives real nice. You could drive it as you restore it or keep it as it is. I could pull and sell the engine and transmission and get back the money I paid for the car, but I would rather sell it to someone that would want a 61 beetle that needs some love. Transmission is basically like new, shifts great with zero problems what so ever. I can guarantee you’ll be surprised and satisfied with how this car drives. All the gauges work including the wipers. The winning bidder can contact me and I’ll be more than happy to help with where exactly to get all the necessary items needed to complete this beetle. 61 is a rather rare year for anyone that knows Volkswagens, and you won’t find that many out there.
