This was just a close location to take the pictures! Please look carefully at the pictures. Read this description. Then feel free to ask me any questions. This van can be driven by an able-bodied adult using the van seat, or by a person in a wheelchair by removing the standard driver's seat. I bought this van used from Liberty Chevrolet in Wakefield, Massachusetts, with 7100 low miles back in early 2009. I then had the lowered floor wheelchair ramp conversion done through Advanced Wheels in East Granby, Connecticut. This is a lowered floor (10"?) AMS AmeriVan conversion. I have driven it almost daily since then. It had a Massachusetts state vehicle inspection in February. I am a quadriplegic and drive it from my power wheelchair. It has the basic dependable things needed for someone with limited mobility to be able to drive. I lock into place in the van with the EZ Lock. The van is started by pushing a button. It is shifted by pushing a button. The turn signals, horn, high beams, and wipers can also be operated by a button. A toggle switch can be used to apply the parking brake. This van has no other equipment to fail such as advanced steering or braking that you'll sometimes see in other vans for Quadriplegics. You'll need somewhat "normal" strength to drive this van for steering, acceleration, and braking. My 90 year old mother can do it, so you probably can too. This van is indeed well used. It has small dents and scratches but has never been to an auto body shop for any repair, so I say it's accident free! It runs and drives great. It has some small areas of rust. It starts up every time. The transmission is fine. The brakes were replaced at 75,000 miles. The tires are good to great. The exhaust was replaced 2 years ago. The only thing this van has ever had wrong with it are the power sliding doors. It has been to the dealership four times over the past 10 years to fix/repair the sliding door motors. The drivers side power slider doesn't work. That needs to be opened & closed by hand but that wasn't a big deal to me so I never had that looked at. The reason I'm selling this van is because the power door slider on the ramp side doesn't always work. It may open fine and the power ramp will lower, but then it may not close. It needs to be shut by hand. Sometimes it closes. Sometimes it won't open and you will have to slide the door open by hand. I will help you as much as I can with arranging shipping. The van is currently available for a test drive and inspection in Holden, Massachusetts. Anyone who will be driving this van will need to be licensed and will need to get the proper training as is required by law.
