Vehicle Detail
This is a concourse restored numbers matching 1967 Triumph TR6c Trophy with a true nut and bolt restoration. The Triumph was restored by one of the premier, under the radar, restorers in the US. I purchased this bike from the restorer's personal collection, it's very rare to find one of his motorcycles for sale. Everything on this TR6c has been touched and refreshed including each and every part in the motor and transmission. The Mist Green and white paint was matched to an NOS part and is as perfect as paint can be, all fasteners where possible are original nuts and bolts that have been re-plated. The horn, headlight and speedometer are restored originals and very rare. The Triumph has just over 300 break in miles, when I purchased the bike I added gas and rode it around the block several times, drained the gas and kept it as kinetic art. The restoration was done with judging in mind, the frame is painted, like the original, as opposed to powder coated, the spokes are cad plated with nickel plated nipples not stainless, original seat pan, original stainless fenders, and other original parts from the restorer's vast inventory. Most of these bikes were turned into desert racers and did not fare well. With only 2042 1967 TR6c produced one restored to this level of detail is truly a rare find. I've have owned and sold many motorcycles, quite a few of them Triumphs, this is by far the finest, most accurately restored Triumph that I have ever had the privilege of which to be a caretaker. This Triumph TR6C was judged and awarded "Best in Class" at the 19th annual Riding Into History Vintage Concours d'Elegance in Saint Augustine, Florida on Saturday, May 19th, 2018. The Concours is one of the largest judged events in the South East with over 300 motorcycles. The Triumph is sold with a bill of sale and current registration. I bought the Triumph when I lived in Georgia, where you don't need a title for vintage vehicles, it has a current Georgia registration. I just moved to South Carolina and can register the bike and provide a SC title if needed; The Triumph is listed locally and this listing could end early.
