Up for bid is a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. I am happy to help answer any questions or take any pictures you may want to see before bidding on the car. Mechanical: The original numbers matching 400 is still in the car undisturbed. The car has been sitting since the early 90's so I would assume she needs to be completely gone through. Automatic transmission is obviously unknown as well. Body: The car needs restoration, or go through it mechanically and enjoy as is. The body is straight, the doors open and shut nicely without sagging. You can see where the rust has began in some of the lower corners, far better than most of these unrestored Trans Ams. Good start to an awesome project car. Please inquire about any particulars you may be interested in. Interior: What you see is what is there, just original. The car is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally. The car is available to see and inspect any time before auction ends. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end, with remainder due within 7 days, via cash, cleared check, money order or bank transfer.
