(725) 221-6436 for info call your bidding on a CLASSIC orignal patina FACTORY MEADOW VALE GREEN paint color 1960 Ford Falcon * 2dr sedan * with * RARE optional * 2 speed ford-o-matic * AUTOMATIC * transmission & ORIGINAL 2.4 litre mileage maker single barrel carb 6 cylinder engine -------------------------------------------------------------------- - smooth STEERING - for comfort and smooth city driving reworked pulls a u turn with pinky finger also - ALTERNATOR - added for modern reliability -------------------------------------------------------------------- also has CLASSIC 2 inch WHITE WALL TIRES with - POLISHED - original DOG DISH caps ------------------------------------------------------------------ REALLY CLEAN FIRST YEAR MODEL 1960 FORD FALCON is a 1 family owned DESERT CAR a family inheritance car was grandmas car then stored for many years aprox 1972 til 2014 and was dug out of storage and past 5 years has been used as a daily around town week end driver ever since even driven at hi way speeds 65mph with ease - COOL ORIGINAL VINTAGE - - TU-TONED - INTERIOR - looks amazing - its extremely clean and in great condition all vinyl is soft not dried out - fabric is still silky shiny headliner is mint - door panels are nice shape chrome and interior paint is still nice shape it looks to be all original * ORIGINAL CHROME * looks great straight - still bright and shiny all glass is original in great shape * DASH IS UNCUT * never had a radio heater - wiper - turn signals brake lights all working at time of listing ENGINE COMPARTMENT is clean original looking condition TRUNK is solid and clean - un touched - no leaks with original mounted spare - tire iron and jack * BODY * IS ARROW STRAIGHT paint retains a shiny glow with patina ORIGINAL BODY PANELS DOORS close solid all panels line up nicely white color top was added sometime in the late 60"s portions of body panels have been touched up and re-sprayed over the years the last time approximately in 1971still wearing 70% factory paint it gives it that really cool patina look everyones after NO BONDO NO RUST trunk is solid floor pans are solid with sum surface rust very minimal and several small pinholes on upper drivers side nothing serious can be patched if desired easily ENGINE STARTS RIGHT UP FIRST TRY sounds great had good compression NO smoking - NO overheating NO visible leaks HAS A LOT OF POWER FOR A LITTLE ENGINE gets down the road good choke functions and works well still carb should be adjusted to your climate we are in high desert TRANSMISSION SHIFTS smoothly NO slipping or stalling goes in gear easily - all forward and reverse gears work has sum leaks from what seams to be the pan gasket [common to this vintage and model ] we just add sum every now and then but should be given a once over and repaired for regular daily driving its been maintained and kept up on a regular basis this is recent and was looked at and was told pan gasket MECHANICALS it is a 1960 original automobile (58 years old ) that being said said its solid running SHOCKS AND BRAKES SEEM TO BE GOOD SHAPE stops good - no wobbles - or shakes down the road steers straight ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - THIS CAR SCREAMS - " ROCK - A -BILLY " poodle skirts - bitty bop shades pompadours - doo wop - & - drive-ins " TAATOOS & HAIRDOOS " this car fits right into that culture but also sits right with the millennials can you see yourself listening to music on you your I phone while cruising this to Starbucks & parking next to a HYBRID vehicle ( posers ) or road tripping it across the country to burning man ?
