Vehicle Detail
1984 Mercedes 240GD W461 GWagon Wolf Mil Spec 4x4 If you are looking at this, you may well know more than me about this super cool, very dependable G-Wagon. If you are in the market for a 1980's G-Wagon this is worth a second look. Clear Colorado Title. Just passed emissions for a 3rd time. Very low miles at a little under 45k or 72k kilometers. I have owned this for close to 2 1/2 years and it has been 100% dependable, always kept in the garage and regularly serviced. Actually, in terms of service it has only needed a couple oil/filter changes. My Mercedes mechanic, quite knowledgeable on the 2.4l diesel engines has never recommended anything else. I would add that after owning a Land Rover Defender 90, which was constantly in need of service, this Mercedes does not leak any fluids and is likely more dependable than my Toyota Tacoma. This has beastly Goodyear tires with a very deep tread and kevlar, Hutchinson Beadlock wheels along with a very durable nice looking Rhino-liner/Kevlar paint job. This is a blast to drive, great in the winter, but even better in the summer with the fresh air blowing through. I drive it at least every 2 weeks in the winter (never in rain/snow) and much more often in the summer. I am selling as I need the extra garage space. This has actually sold several times on Ebay in the past, unfortunately to non-paying bidders. Happy to work with the shipper of your choice. Also happy to answer your questions. The vehicle is being sold as is, where is and as with any Ebay vehicle purchase (I have bought many) it is recommeded that you have an inspection prior to purchase. p.s. The Black/Red Rhino Liner paint job looks great and gets a ton of compliments. FYI though, since this may not be some people's preference, I have had estimates at under $2,000 to completely repaint in either the original military green or all black. Thanks
