2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 -Clean Carfax (available free upon request) -No Accidents -Impeccable routine maintenance kept -Exceptionally Clean -Female driven daily long distance highway commuter for 358k miles -Just serviced & inspected -MANY brand new parts including BRAND NEW FRAME & SUSPENSION I am selling my 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 I purchased a little over a year ago and personally only put on a little over 2k miles driving it around town. My plan was to completely restore it to like-new condition with a small lift for light hobby farm use but due to a change of career and going back to school, I have to put fun & awesome projects on hold. This Tacoma was purchased brand new in 2003 by a woman who needed a daily commuter but also wanted a 4x4 pickup for carrying gardening & home improvement supplies. She never had a hitch installed on it or towed anything. She is a friend and I purchased it from her when she decided to buy a new Rav4 AWD. I took it into the dealership for an inspection and oil change this last fall and they informed me that the truck qualified for a frame replacement under Toyota policy. While this was being performed, I asked them to let me know if there were any items at all that they thought should be fixed at the same time. The frame replacement (as can be seen on the Carfax) was completed just over a month ago at the end of March 2018. Here was the result: -NEW FRAME -NEW Lower control arms -NEW Front Shocks -NEW Front Coil Springs -NEW Rear Leaf Springs -NEW Rear Shocks -NEW Fuel Tank Mounting Straps -NEW Hardware -NEW Brake Lines -NEW Parking Brake Cable -NEW TIRES mounted & Balanced -Alignment performed w/ mechanic road test -All seals & mounts inspected and free of leaks -Brakes are excellent and plenty of life left -A/C blows strong & cold There are only a few things that I did not do -Small 3.5” tear in driver side seat bolster ($50 repair estimate) -Small 1” dent in front passenger side fender ($50 repair estimate) -Front & Rear metal bumper covers ($125 each repair estimate) -Parking brake bell crank ($60 repair estimate) -Driver & Passenger Exterior Door Handles ($50 repair estimate) -9”x 1” rust spot confined to passenger side of bed area ($200 repair estimate) -Airbag Clock Spring ($90 repair estimate) The truck is perfectly fine without performing the things I didn’t do, but I am extremely particular and if I was keeping the truck, these are things I would have done. Once these things were completed, this truck I have no doubt would be one of the cleanest, most solid examples out there from the late 1st generation of these trucks.
