1969 Porsche 912 Coupe Project, VIN 129023250 - ENG # 1281388 Here we have a great 912 project. The '69 912 is a unique beast in that it is the only long wheel base, long hood 912 produced. One-year only examples are always worth restoring and talking about. The original color of the 912 appears to be Bahama Yellow, which is visible in areas that were protected by the green respray it received at some point. The car has been off the road for quite a while, and while there are some parts that will need to be sourced to get it back together, it was never picked clean. The included engine, serial #1281388, turns over easily by hand. There will be some rust repair, please see the photos underneath to get an idea of what will be required in the rust department. Restored, this beautiful Bahama Yellow LWB 912 will be a sure standout in a crowd of standard red 912s at the next show or Cars-n-Coffee. This car comes with a clear title and is ready for export.
