1972 Volvo P1800E. Car is in great shape. I bought it a few years ago from a guy in California. The engine was rebuilt has under 1,000 miles on it by my estimate. In general these cars are known for their durability and longevity with one being driven over 2.5 million miles. This is a car I would not hesitate to drive cross country. It is a 4 speed with an electronic overdrive. you can cruise at 70 mph no problem. I usually keep it around 65 on the open road. The tires are period correct and new with less than 200 miles on them. Brakes and running gear is in great shape. It is an E model so it is Fuel injected. The car comes with original owners manuals and parts books that they gave with the car new. It has a Spare tire and jack. The exterior is in great shape with only a few very small blemishes. The glass is all in good order no chips or cracks. Some of the rubber trim could be replaced to look better but there are no leaks. The interior is good but with a refresh would really stand out. The seats are very comfortable. There are a couple small tears in the drivers seat. The rear seat is just a jump seat and really only enough room for a child. The seat folds over as you can see in the pics for a nice storage shelf. All the traditional gauges work but it has a oil temp gauge that is not working. The traditional engine temp gauge does. Also I have parts to add Air conditioning that will go with the car. These cars are a good investment and it is a classic car that you could drive every day. Reason for selling is just for garage space. Please Serious Inquires only. I can't add any more images. 2 vin plates I found match. Light surface rust and normal road wear in wheel wells but no rust through that I can see. This car has not been undecorated to cover anything up and looks like a 40 year old California car to me underneath. This not a frame off restored car. There may be some light rust here and there. It is a good looking driver that came from California that has not undergone any major restoration. I looked at the a/c parts and they are just the under dash parts and I have no idea if any of that works but it will go with the car.
