1966 Ford Mustang “C” code for sale. Vehicle has a strong running 351W that does not smoke but will smoke tires J with a rebuilt C4 transmission. Suspension was recently replaced/reconditioned and interior was gone through at the same time. Paint and body is that of a beautiful daily driver, not show quality but absolutely stunning, which receives attention every moment on the road. The Mustang is equipped with a 1969 351W 4V, C4 transmission and stock 2.80 gears. The engine was removed so it could be properly painted and the engine bay received the same attention to detail. The Windsor has new, freeze plugs, valve cover gaskets, header gaskets (Hedman shorty), spark plugs, spark plug wires, Pertronix ignition system, ignition coil, oil filter, fuel pump, fuel pump to carb line, starter, alternator, belts, March Aluminum Pulleys and air cleaner. 16 gallon capacity fuel tank was installed along with, fuel fill neck, sending unit and 3/8” fuel tank to pump line. The carburetor is a Holley 4 barrel 650cfm. Engine bay has all new headlight harness, alternator harness and engine gauge feed. Battery is new along with battery tray, cables and starter solenoid. Radiator is a brass 3 row with new rubber hoses and CSR aluminum overflow tank. The C4 3-speed automatic transmission was rebuilt by Dana Sniff of Irvine, CA and has a shift kit. The transmission cooling lines were replaced at the same time. Heater box was rebuilt, which includes the replacement of heater core, heater plenum with defroster hoses, blower motor and heater hoses. Total Control Products aluminum export brace completes the engine bay. Shelby 1” drop was applied to the car for the aggressive stance. Grab-a-trak shocks in all four corners, front coil springs and reverse eye leaf springs along with the Grab-a-trak 1” sway bar, tie rods, idler arm with proper alignment make this pony handle better than it did when it came out of the assembly line. Wilwood 4-piston front disc brakes and matching Wilwood aluminum master cylinder make this car stop on a dime. Vintage Wheel Works (V48) 16”x 8” keep this Pony grounded with Kumho 225/50R16 in all four corners. Axel seals were replaced when the suspension was refreshed. The H-pipe with cherry bomb glass packs don’t exit the rear GT valance. This black deluxe pony interior was done properly. The following items were replaced with new components; headliner, sun visors with rods, black vinyl package tray, TMI Pony upholstery (incl. qtr panels), TMI seat foam, chrome seat trim, ACC black carpet, sound deadener, kick panels, racing seat belts, TMI door panels, Ford Tooling dash pad, Drake aluminum Pony/GT dash set, chrome dash knobs, ignition switch, brake handle, satin/aluminum interior handles, chrome rear view mirror, satin heater panel and Pioneer 6”x 9” speakers and matching stereo which is located in the glove box. Please note that the whole car has satin/aluminum finish with few/minor chrome options. A Nardi steering wheel guides the car down the road. The black center console is original FoMoCo and it is has aluminum finish center trim. The exterior is finished in Ford CX dark shadow gray with GT350 black stripes. All body weatherstrip was replaced. The exterior consists of aluminum finish front and rear bumpers, gas cap, tail light bezels, trunk lock sleeve, GT valance rings, door handles, mirrors, short billet aluminum antenna, grill and turn signals. The Drake GT350 fiberglass steel reinforced hood has a functional scoop. I highly encourage the potential buyer to inspect the vehicle. I have described it to the best of my knowledge and it is being sold as-is without warranty and please ask any questions prior to placing a bid.
