Hello, I'm selling off a few of my vintage projects because I just don't have the time to complete them. I bought this AJS from the original owner in California. He did desert riding with the bike and ran it in the Lake Elsinore event in the late '70's. I've owned it for 5 years. Contrary to what the ebay listing says I will ship this and I accept several different types of payment.Payment is due within 7 days and I expect you to set up shipping right away so that I'm not storing it for long.You are welcome to drive here and pick the bike up in person, but again do that right away and don't make me store this for you. The bike starts and seems to run well, has good compression and shifts through the gears easily by hand. The bike has never been ridden by me, but in the time I've had it I've started it and run it in the garage several times.Bike currently has no air in tires due to old tubes, tires look like they could be used for vintage racing. The gas tank is beautiful, probably as nice as you'll find. Has original gel coat and has not been painted. Original seat has no tears and looks great.Frame is undamaged.Forks look good with straight tubes and good chrome.Rear shocks are original and show no signs of leaking.Bike has original air box and new filter in it. This bike comes with a new set of alloy fenders that I bought out of the UK. Currently there are preston petty fenders on the bike.Also included are a number of parts that I've collected for the bike, as shown in the pictures. Comes with shop and owners manuals, full new seal set, full gasket set.Basically everything that I collected to do the restoration. Ebay requires that you put something for mileage, mileage is unknown.Ebay requires that you put something for title status, this is an off-road vehicle and there is no title, bill of sale only! This is a really solid start to a restoration or just go through and clean / adjust everything and put it back on the track!The weakest part of the bike is the front rim, it has a few dings and I was planning on replacing it. There seem to be good front wheels for these listed all the time here on ebay.
