Up for sale is this 1970 factory Westfalia VW tin top camper bus. Mechanical: The bus has been off the road since 1987 and stored away inside since. I hooked a battery up, she spins right over with the key, most of the lights and interior lights came on an even the ac blower came on. She needs to be gone through and freshened up mechanically but its all there and doesn't appear to have ever been tampered with. I am also guessing the engine has probably never been out of the bus. Body: Look at the pics, for an unrestored bus you'll have a hard time finding a better bus out there. Frame rails and floors are exceptionally nice. The passenger front pan is soft and has some small holes and under the rear hatch has some rust. Otherwise shes extremely straight and solid and an awesome bus to fresh up mechanically and enjoy as is Interior: ALLLL original and complete from what I can tell. Thanks to dry storage the interior has held up vey well and cushions still nice and soft The bus is sold as is, in Danville, VA, with no warranty. I do reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale locally.
