Clean / clear California title in my name. 1978 Pontiac Firebird - Trans Am. Starts right up and runs great. It has been sitting for years and is only driven around the shop area. This is a RESTORATION PROJECT and needs gone through completely. It has a new battery, alternator and ignition switch, carb rebuild kit. It has a Pontiac 400ci with a 4 speed transmission, posi-traction rear end with 3.42 gear ratio (ratio determined by wheel - driveshaft rotations, did not remove differential cover). T-tops in perfect condition, original snowflake wheels, radial tuned suspension option with rally gauges. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) documentation (build sheet and window sticker). Owners manual, original parts book, body manual, service manual, assembly manual, restoration manual, Haynes and Chilton repair manuals. Original paint - Martinique Blue, this is a one year only color. I removed all interior panels, carpet and seats for photos to show all rust on the floors. Front passenger floor and rear driver floor need replacement floor panels as well as driver rear quarter patch. All panels available on-line. Body is straight and solid overall. Seats have just been set back in place, not bolted. I have taken high definition photos so you can zoom in on any areas, let me know if you need any more information or photos. I have tried to list everything and hide nothing so there should be no surprises. The trunk is solid and the rust on the exterior body is flash or surface only. I have had people bid and not pay and make offers and not pay. If you don't have the money, room or resources please do not respond. Also drained the gas tank and added 5 gallons of fresh 91 octane to facilitate moving around or testing when it gets to its destination.
