For Auction: 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 2 DOOR HARD TOP *****This '57 has a late 60's or early 70's Chevy 350 engine. 2 barrel carb, auto transmission. Will start and run good by dumping gas in carb. It will also go into drive and reverse. I have not tried putting any gas in the tank as I'm sure that it probably needs to be cleaned. Original red interior is complete but does have some rips and wear. Perfect headliner. All glass is in tact with the exception of the passenger door. It does have an old frame repair on the driver's side behind the rear axle. Repaired quarters and repaint from the 70's. The paint does show some fade and there is some chipping here and there. The tires do show a lot of wear. The brake master cylinder is froze up. It does have newer carpet and old Hurst Indy floor shifter. The engine does have a rusted out freeze plug that causes it to leak coolant. The trunk floor has rust across the rear edge and around the wheel wells. The floor has rust through under the rear seat. I've got a few extra trim pieces for the tail fins and an extra windshield (the current one has wiper scratches). I'll help load it for you or your shipper. A lot of potential with this car. It does show it's age but is still a complete 1957 Bel Air 2 door hard top. Please, only bid if you are serious about purchasing the car at the price that you bid.
