For sale is a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab Laramie SLT, Short Bed, 2WD, Automatic. I am the second owner of this amazing truck. With only 23,070 original miles, it is probably the nicest, lowest mile, 1998 24V Cummins presently on the market. This is a non-smoker’s truck and it has never been in an accident or had any paint work. There are pictures which show all the features and options. One of my co-workers told me his father-in-law passed away at 97 years of age. He mentioned that he had a 1998 Dodge Ram with only 20k miles. He said “It says 24 Valves on the door”. I bought the truck! Since I purchased the truck I have changed all fluids, adjusted the transmission bands (no issues, only per maintenance manual), packed front wheel bearings, adjusted rear brakes, replaced shocks, replaced all hoses and filters, and replaced the serpentine belt. I installed the FASS DRP lift pump with a low pressure light. I replaced the tires and driver’s seat cushion. The interior is in remarkable condition! There are no cracks in the dash and the plastics are very clear. There are no stains on the seats, carpet, or headliner. Absolutely no odors or fading. The exterior is likewise in excellent condition. The paint is very glossy and reflective. The truck has been garaged 99% of its life, so there is no fading or weather checking. The areas of notable wear are as follows: One small scuff with slight indentation on driver’s side bed near tail light; two small parking lot dings below driver’s door handle; there are two small eyelet holes on front fenders just above bumper (holes were plugged, but are still noticeable.); minor scuffs on passenger’s side bed (barely noticeable unless looking for them close up). Other than these areas, the truck has very minimal wear. There are over 140 pictures which accurately show the condition of the truck. Mechanically, the truck drives like a new. The engine has never been modified. The transmission shifts perfectly, brakes and suspension are solid. The tires are 265/75/16’s and are E-Rated. They have less than 1000 miles on them. Pictures really don’t do justice to show how exceptionally sharp the truck is. The undercarriage is unbelievably clean. There is no rust or oxidation as the truck has been in the dry climate of Nevada its entire life. I recently purchased a 2016 Ram Cummins, so I decided to sell this one.
