This Rare 79 4x4 chevy sandbox edition was owned by a local area iowa farmer. He was the second owner of this truck. I have been trying to buy it from him since 2005. I finally got him to sell me the truck due to his age. I have used this truck as my daily driver, fun toy and reliable cruiser for longer trips. I am offering it for sale out of my personal collection to change faces. This is a custom deluxe truck that is only going up and up in value and are becoming very rare. I have started to see this vintage area truck restored fetching that 30-40 k range. This is a survivor you can use as a daily driver and not worry about the typical stone chip etc and not tie up a ton of money. I take this to shows here and there and it always gets tons of attention. Really a cool 70's vibe with it. This chevy truck has 48k miles, I was told they are actual (although i have to represent them as miles exempt being over ten years old) The 4x4 works great. The truck has the original drive train and v8 engine. Runs and drives and shifts great. The body cosmetics are survivor daily driver quality, i videoed it well and pictured it well so you can see what it is. This truck has the sandbox dealer conversion (look them up on the web pretty rare) has a neat 70's interior original. it has a cb radio and regular radio that works. the fan heat etc works but once in a while the passenger blower fan makes some noise. The truck has factory A/C. I am sure it needs freon but everything is there original. This entire truck is in great overall shape for the age, I videoed it well and pictured it well to see the condition and common for a survivor daily driver type scratches , blemishes etc. overall very nice and original looking with a nice 70's patina. It has a very collectible rat fink antenna topper. The truck has two fog lights kc daylighter lights that are working with the original sandbox control in the cab (watch on video) I invite you to come and check it out in personal in my showroom or hire ebay to do a independent inspection for you.
