So you’ve been searching for one of these legendary 7.3 Diesel trucks for a while now. The mid 2000’s powerstroke trucks are a gamble to buy used and you don’t want to spend $60k on a new one? They used it only occasionally to tow a camper trailer in SE Idaho area. 4.11 gears, He had a bully dog chip installed, straight piped it and I think it has an aftermarket turbo wheel too, has a nice sound to it and by far more powerful than other powerstrokes of this era I’ve driven. Mechanically sound, runs amazing. Since I’ve had it, I’ve had the following done: - new BFG AT tires about 4,000 miles ago, great condition.- professional spray in bed liner & headache rack.- firestone airbag kit- gooseneck flipover ball installed. (Used it only once so far to pull a skid steer home from South Dakota)- upgraded 10,000# rated bumper pull receiver hitch.- new 7 pin trailer plugs in bed and bumper. - XM radio / Bluetooth receiver and new speakers.- glow plug and harness service.- both batteries replaced last year.- New front brakes, rotors and brake hoses.- Snap on grill cover for cold weather driving.- New windshield and full window tint. There is a ding on the tailgate and a slight crinkle on the bed above the exhaust pipe. It is an honest super solid truck with original paint as far as I can tell, the tailgate may have been repainted. Absolutely no signs of rust on the body.
