Vw Jetta diesel runs and drives alright down the road. I am selling this vehicle for one of my customers. I am a mechanic and have been maintaining this vehicle for awhile now. Owner was the second owner bought it from the dealer when it had 27K. He has put alot into it in the last few years. We replaced timing belt,waterpump,brakes and calipers,injectors,glow plugs, front quick struts other numerous things I can't recall. But he recently had a wheel bearing , oil pan from a crack and seeping oil, painted the rockers cause rust was starting to form. A month later he returned with a check engine light on and he decided to get rid of it, just ready for something different. I checked the light and it had 2 codes one for the turbo actuator sensor, the other for glow plug harness connection on one cylinder. It had some oil seeping down from valve cover. I don't think it needs a whole lot to be road worthy seems to go down the road alright not skipping and fires right up in the really cold fine. A couple things to note that you can't really see in the pics is the rocker on the passenger side is jammed in does not prevent doors from opening or closing, just noticeable. Plastic shield underneath is broken, drivers seat has some wear where you get in and out on the seat back about 4 inch tear. Some small surface rust spots could easily be touched up no major rot.
