Vehicle Detail
Please pay close attention to my description & photos. Also, I reside in ATHENS, GA.! This is believed to be a 1970 CT70 and is for parts or project. I am not a mechanic but I know a thing or two about combustion engines, at least more than the average. 1st, I am confused about compression on this particular bike. When in neutral & kicked it feels like there is no compression at all. However when I put in gear & kick it, the bike will actually move. Other than the engine not frozen, with a little oil in the crank case, that's about all I can tell you on that subject. 2nd, I believe this bike had a little crash at one point. The right handle bar is bent in toward the rider (salvageable) and the headlight glass is busted. 3rd, clutch & gas throttle do not work & will need repaired. I am only referring to where they are at the handles. 4th, back tire is blown & I'd replace them both & why not? 5th, brakes seem fine but have not tested them at 35 MPH. So please go over them for your own safety. That goes for the chain as well. Some surface rust but to what extent I do not know. 6th, seat has a few very small rips but nothing that I would worry about till later. This maybe the nicest part of the whole bike. It's a very nice seat. 7th, paint & chrome has surface rust here & there so please view pictures up close. PICK UP....Pick up will be in ATHENS, GA Not Troy, Al. If you live in the Southeastern United States halfway delivery MAY BE negotiable. PAYMENT... payment is expected at auction end & will hold the bike for 30 days. Payment is refundable but deposit will be kept for time loss ( sorry, that's business) Let me know if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible. Thanks & best of luck.On Apr-23-18 at 12:44:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I have found both engine & frame VIN numbers & they are a match. I have the Frame # uploaded in pictures but you will have to message me in order for me to send picture of the engine VIN#. I can no longer upload anymore pictures to the listing
