Well maintained scooter with low mileage and in very good condition, actual mileage is unknown due to age. Carburetor has been overhauled and it has brand new Michelin Gazelle tires, front and back, with new tubes also. I have not ridden it enough to wear off the little tire molding tips.I replaced the seat cover with a new Honda cover. The other was getting a bit old with wear. Likewise with the front basket.The chain has been cleaned, adjusted and lubricated and is in good condition.All lights, including brake and turn signals work well and as they should.The horn works well also as does the three speed semiautomatic transmission.It has both an electric starter along with a kick starter that both work well.I also installed an optional center stand along with the standard side stand.This scooter was the first year Honda went with a new 12 volt battery to replace the old 6 volt system. In addition, it was the first year Honda used a new electronic ignition system which is very reliable.McDonalds says they have sold billions and billions of their hamburgers. But Honda has sold kajillions and kajillions of the these little scooters and I believe they are still being sold in Southeast Asia. I just returned from a trip to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Viet Nam and I can certainly attest to their popularity. Although built for two, these scooters are commonly used to haul all six family members, pigs, chickens, goats, etc. They typically get over 100 miles per gallon and are absolutely bullet proof. That's why they have been and continue to be so popular.Give them good routine service and they will serve you well. A little research will show many examples of these scooters being ridden cross country and even internationally! Yes, they are that dependable! This is great transportation for short jaunts, putting around retirement communities or for carrying on the back of your RV. Go ahead, drive it across the country or across Africa!The step through design is somewhat unique and always draws attention and comments when others see it.When I am out in public, others always ask about it and then want to know if it is for sale.The scooter is actually growing in popularity and as time goes on, the selling prices keep going up along with their unique looks and quality Honda name. Of course, they are getting harder to find. Particularly those that have been well maintained and have been stored inside.Whatever your needs or desires, when was the last time you bought something that actually appreciated in value?
