1970 FORD F-250 CAMPER SPECIAL w/ SKAUG UTILITY BED AND GEM TOP CAMPER SHELL Single family owned vehicle was purchased new by the titled owner's uncle at Wray Bros. Ford in Van Nuys, CA. in 1970. It was then outfitted with a SKAUG utility bed almost immediately after purchase. A Gem Top camper shell was added later as a final treatment to the bed portion of the truck. Every single receipt/invoice/document associated with this truck is included in a manila folder...including all dealer finance paperwork and the original dealer purchase order! Vehicle has 133K original miles on it and the original matching numbers 390 CID V-8 was rebuilt at 100K. An auxiliary 65 gallon fuel tank is located behind the factory fuel tank in the SKAUG utility bed. A fuel on/off valve is located right behind the driver's seat. An auxiliary overdrive transmission and shortened drive shaft are included and can be re-installed if desired. A period correct Frantz toilet paper oil cleaner is still present in the engine bay and fully plumbed. A full set (5 volumes) Ford service manuals, various fuel filters, drive belts, and other maintenance parts are inside one of the storage compartments in the SKAUG utility bed. A Pertronix IGNITOR electronic ignition has replaced the points setup in the distributor allowing the vehicle to start up without hesitation on the coldest of days.
