I was told that he bought the car when he was in california from the original owner. i have old registration from when it was registered in california originally. we elected to leave the paint on the car original and not touch up any of the little paint flakes/ patina that have come off over the last 58 years. In my opinion, This car is worth more in its original patina showing off what a true survivor should look like. you can leave it the way it is as it has a great look or you can take it to the next levels and touch up the spots etc. I took over 100 pics and a hd video so you can see what the car is, make sure to check them out. This is a car you can leave the way it is and drive it to car shows, cruise nights etc and have a true survivor that you can have a blast with. the interior in the car is in good shape for a usable survivor but does have some age wear. check out the pics and video. the radio works , headlights worked, tail lights worked, speedo worked. the windows as video shows go up and down easy. glass looks good. doors all open and shut the way they should and the trunk opens and shuts the way it is. this car has the big block v8 with auto trans and power steering and brakes. I personally drove it around a hour 20 miles or so, it ran and drove good. i had it up to 50 mph and it rode nice. fun car that gets thumbs ups and smiles where ever you go and lots of compliments on the fins!!
