Specifications: 2003 Chevrolet 2500 Silverado Pickup, 2WD – 2-Wheel Drive, Regular Cab, GM 6.0 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM Stereo, Receiver Hitch, GVWR – 8,600#, GAWR Front – 4,100#, GAWR Rear – 6,000#, LT245/75R16 Tires, VIN: 1GCGC24U73Z115208, 110,288 Miles, One Owner (No salvage, wreck or flood history – see auto check history report below by additional photo links!). Negatives to list: Reverse is not working at all, forward gears work fine but no reverse, we have not serviced transmission and don’t know if it would help or not, either plan on getting fixed or just never park where you never have to back up. Overall condition of the truck is very well used, while it has only 110K miles it has lived a tough life. Big hole in driver’s seat, small hole in center seat, headliner is starting to come down in cab, steering wheel has been taped up. Oxidation on headlights, bumper is faded and discolored, 3 out 4 center caps are missing, paint discoloration where tool box was removed, right rear taillight cover is broken. Some body damage at the bottom driver’s door and bottom of truck bed (see pics), the passenger door is a replacement from a 3500 truck, there are 5 holes drilled into the passenger door that was undoubtedly used to mount something, but we just don’t know what. Dent in rear bumper, dents and scratches along the passenger side of the truck started at the lower rear door and continuing onto the bed of the truck (does not affect the drive-ability in any way). This truck until a week ago was owned by a local small town in our home State of Mississippi which is about 20 miles from our location. It was used by an employee of the town since new in 2003 (see link for current auto-check history report), no salvage-flood-fire history! We purchased the truck directly from the town along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we checked the fluids, cranked it and drove it back to our location, cleaned it, checked fluids again and then took photographs/video for eBay. The truck cranks right up and drives down the highway but truck was sold to us with a known problem with the transmission (NO REVERSE, see highlighted area for details) we have not spent any time diagnosis the problem but just simply selling it AS IS with NO RESERVE and turning it into cash! Any other issues we highlighted and listed them above, the engine runs fine, A/C blows cold, heat is hot and beside the big tear in the driver’s seat the interior is in good shape, the tires are in poor shape and can be clearly seen on the photos and photo links, with the right repairs there still seems to have plenty of life left in it! We have purchased items from this location before and they seem to all have been fairly well maintained but also very well used! We are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, run and drive, but needs transmission work to be 100% roadworthy but should make someone a great truck.
