1989 Chevrolet Corvette. Charcoal Metallic, Auto, Glass Top, 88K Miles, Books, Receipts, Copy of Build Sheet & Window Sticker. I like to collect, save and restore 80's & 90's GM Muscle cars. All the cars I wanted in High School. (Mid life crisis). I wanted a fun weekend cruiser and found this Vette in Bakersfield, CA a year ago. It has gone through a major overhaul within the last 3K miles of my ownership to ensure fun and dependability. There was a heavy scratch on the lower passenger door. I had LA Street Customs in North Hollywood, CA do both bumpers, lower passenger door, Colorsand & buff complete car. Look at the pictures and video to see the crystal clear reflection of the paint. Totally Radical, Dude!!! STORED AT INDOORS STORAGE FACILITY FLAWSAntenna does not go up. Got new mast but didn't install it. I like the look of it just slightly up. Motor works fine just need to replace mast. Will include New Antenna mast.The driver upper door panel trim could be replaced and driver panel has a small tear. See pics & video.There is a chip in the center of the hood (see pic)There is a chip (touched up) on the right side of the hood.Passenger power seat moves up & down but not back and forth. Not too much room in the Vette, so I left it alone. Its all about the driver, right? Lol.There are two chips in the windshield passenger side one above the other (they can be repaired or replace the whole windshield). Small and didn't bother my view, so left it alone.Carpet shows sign of age. I was going to do a complete swap to black carpet to match the new black seat cushions, but I like the two tone look. Makes interior Pop!Climate control unit needs a rebuild service ($99 service), as the hot temperature button is not working. Common problem with C4 Vettes due to age. AC blows cold and works fine, so I left it alone as I did not require heat. When Battery is reset Temp is up on climate control. If you turn on heater it will blow hot. You just wont be able to raise the heat if you lower the temp as the HOT temp button is not working, Savvy? On one of my drives in October of last year, I had loose gravel from a truck fly and hit the hood & windshield causing the chip in the hood and two chips in the windshield. This shows up on Carfax as "other damage". Otherwise Carfax and Autocheck are both clean with no accidents. Clean CA Title. Current Registration. Please understand that it is 29 years old and not perfect. Not a Garage Queen nor a Trailer Queen. Probably better than a lot of other C4's with less mileage. I would say it's in Excellent Driver Condition. This is a very solid C4 Vette that is super fun to drive. Love driving it through Malibu Canyons, up Pacific Coast Highway, to Santa Barbara and taking it local Cars & Coffee events. The staggered ZR1 style wheels with the new Bilsteins make it a blast to go through the curves. Factory 3.07 Gears are fun off the line with the Nittos grabbing the pavement. It may not be perfect with some minor flaws, but this C4 Vette is meant to be driven and enjoyed. Especially with a good 80's Metal Mix!!! Only reason I am selling is to make room for a new 80's Toy (never ends). I don't expect to get anywhere near what I put into it, but I love the process of finding these cars and bringing them back to life. Oh, and did I mention I love to drive them?
