(or view classic view not ebay mobile app)This truck was previously owned by a farmer in south dakota who bought it in 2010. he did a amateur paint job that looks great from 10 feet away leaving the original dings and minor dents in the fenders etc. it retains the original seat and interior along with... the 235 6 cyl 3 speed on the column. when we got it a year or so ago, I soaked the engine as it was sitting at the previous owners farm not driven in his barn for the last three years. it has a new brake master cylinder that stops the truck the way it should and the clutch and trans shifts the way it should. he bypassed the 6 volt system and converted it to a 12 volt system. he Hooked up the headlights so they would work. it has a vintage visor and hood ornament it that sets the truck off well. he replaced the original rear end with a highway geared chevy rear axle that lets the truck cruise at higher speeds. because the truck has been sitting before we got it, i bypassed the original gas tank and I am using a aux tank to run it. I would recommend cleaning the original tank out or get a new one. the truck still has the original wood in the bed. you can leave it for the great patina or replace it. the glass is in the truck as pictured (rear window has cracks and one vent window has cracks) the engine runs good and strong with no knocks or misses. I saw some smoke due to us soaking it prior to doing a good tune up and carb rebuild etc. seems to be burning off as we use it but I am sure some residual smoke will still be there etc) the truck shifts all 3 gears and reverse the way it should. i drove it for the video up to 40 mph area and it drove nice with plenty of power to go. i noticed some play driving down the road the faster you went. didnt bother me and my small town roads. The floors look solid, frame looks solid and the doors open and shut the way they should. the hood opens and shuts the way it should. Again look at the pics watch the video so you can see what it is. In my opinion this is a entry level daily driver truck you can take to the next level or leave it the way it is and have fun with it without tying up a lot of money. as everyone has their own idea of what a daily driver entry level truck should be, i recommend coming to inspect it in my showroom teddys auto sales waukon iowa , or hire eaby to do a independent inspection so you feel confident in what you are getting. The license plates and plate toppers and dash magnets, aux tank, and vintage window air cooler do not go with the sale as they are only used for display in my showroom. This comes with a clean title matching the numbers ready for you to register. I require a 200 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end.
