Vehicle Detail

1969 Dodge Coronet "Super Bee" This is a real and original Super Bee, not a clone. The engine is not original to the car, and is a rebuilt 383, documentation for engine included. The car is an automatic transmission car, but I do not know the condition of the transmission. The torque convertor is not currently installed. The car was an original air conditioned car and I have most of the components for that, less the compressor and engine brackets for the compressor. The car has had any sheet metal repairs needed done, and has been painted in base coat / clear in the original color, Y2 pale yellow. Metal work included new floor pans and trunk pans, new driver quarter panel. The hood is the bulge hood type, which I prefer to the dual scoop type. There are just one or two small paint chips from shop movement. One is at driver inside rocker area. The underside of the car looks about as good as the outside of the car. The interior was black. Much of the dash assembly has been restored, but it will need further assembly. There is a new black headliner professionally installed. The driver fender was replaced however there were a few differences in the replacement and it needs to have one internal small piece replaced to allow the headlights to be in the correct position. I have the correct piece for that. There are a few brackets that were removed from the floor and trunk pans before the new parts were welded in. They have not been installed and will need to be properly welded to the underside of the floor, trunk floor or on the tunnel. They are for the inside mounting reinforcements for the seats; the rear console mounting bracket, and the spare tire hold down bracket. I have the rear glass and door and quarter glass, but not a windshield. I have the console, and seats but the seats need upholstery, and the door panels and rear interior quarter panel need to be replaced. The seats are made for headrests, but I do not have those. The car also will need a carpet. Kickpanels are nice. Has a new glove box liner. Known missing items include, gas tank & straps; drive shaft; windshield, rear wheel drums, and radiator. There are likely other small items that could be missing as well. Bumpers have been re-chromed. I have a correct 1969 383 automatic carb, but it needs to be rebuilt. Have a new master cylinder, new correct battery cable kit, new windshield gasket, new fender emblems, "383 Four Barrel", new trunk mat, new headlamp adjuster kit, new front hood seal and cowl to hood seal, new rear shocks. Car has correct thumbwheel AM radio. The tires are OK to move car around, but will not be good to take on the road. Car needs the internal wheel brakes replaced, and needs front shocks. The car was purchased without any engine but it did have an exhaust system. It is a one piece system front to back, dual exhaust, and appears to have been custom made. The driver side does not have the correct front end construction. To make it work you would need to add about a 4 inch section to the front for it to correctly mate up with the exhaust manifold. Have a1969 Dodge Coronet reproduction assembly manual and Coronet SuperBee wiring diagram. I did get the fender tag with the car, but during the long body restoration process, it has been misplaced. The original Ebay auction in 2006 described the codes on the fender tag as follows, and I confirmed that before it was misplaced. The numbers on the fender tag read: (I do not have this tag now) Line 1:V8X 26 END Line 2:A62 C16 C55 H521 M21 R11 Line 3Y2 Y2 M6X X9 527 280022 Line 4:E63 D32 WM21 H9G 277058 The car is sold with a current Vermont registration in my name. Vermont does not use titles for cars over 25 years old. A bill of sale will also be provided. If you purchase the car for the "Buy It Now" price, I will deliver the car at no cost within 500 miles of Cleveland Ohio. Delivery will be on an open trailer. If you want to transport in a enclosed trailer, you will need to make those arrangements, and I will credit you with $400. Car must be fully paid for before transport, whether I deliver or someone else does. Please call Ted at 440-478-6801 if you have any questions. Car is sold as is, with no warranty given or implied. Please review details provided and look at the pictures before making your bid or purchase. This will be a great looking and valuable car when finished. The hard work is done.
