289 engine rebuilt to approx. 325 HP. original crankshaft was polished then balanced for new Keith Black pistons and balanced stock rods. Block was decked square, cut approx .010" Crank was balanced with damper and flywheel to within 1 inch-once. Balance card is available. the block was bored .030. New rings, bearings, gaskets, main girdle, studs, and hi volume oil pump. oil pan was modified to fit (see photo). New comp cams camshaft, lifters, degreed camshaft to specs. 4 degrees advance. New roller timing set. I mildly ported the heads and port matched the heads to the intake manifold, installed hardened exhaust seats new oversize stainless valves and springs. Pushrods were .150 longer than stock.The intake manifold is an old Edelbrock highrise the carb is an old Carter competition model. Mallory distributor, New Stainless steel headers. I used the old Edelbrock valve covers that were on the car when I got it. They are not very pretty but work fine. The idle is a little lumpy, but not rough. I build engines and transmissions for a living so I think that I now what I'm doing.The clutch and transmission worked fine when I got the car, so all I did was change the gear lube in the trans and install a new rear seal.I disassembled the rear axle because it leaked, and installed new gaskets, seals, crush sleeve, nut and gear lube. The rear ratio is 3.50 to 1. The body has new headlight doors, front pan, valance, hood, front fenders, doors, New inner wheel houses, quarter panels, rear panel and valance. There is no rust anywhere in this car. The radio just quit working and only puts out static.The tires are new on new wheels.This car is very powerful. 913-352-6419
