You are bidding on a solid 1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible. I purchased this car from a family that had owned it for 25+ years. They had it stored in a large metal warehouse at their business and had great plans to restore it to like new but never got the chance to finish it. I bought the car about a year ago and have spent some time going thru the brakes and servicing the motor. At this point the car starts right up and drives nicely. I installed a new padded dash and new front and rear emblems. This car appears to be mechanically sound and is ready for cosmetic restoration to include new paint and interior. Some light body work was done by prior owner. If you have been looking for a good Karmann Ghia Convertible to restore , then look no further.
