You are bidding on a very nice example of a well kept 1967 Sunbeam Alpine Series 5 convertible. I purchased this car about a year ago from a local Highway Patrol Officer that decided to sell a few of his classic cars that had been in their family for years. Since my ownership I installed a period correct engine from another sunbeam that was in good running order. I still have the original engine as a spare to go with the sale of the car. I completely redid the brakes including the master/ slave cylinder and power booster. The radiator was rebuilt. Installed all new hoses, new plugs, oil, filters, etc... A brand new top was just installed recently. Overall this car is starting to look very nice. The exterior paint is in good shape with the exception of a ding on the passenger front fender (see picture) and other minor imperfections in the paint. A brand new original style mirror was installed on the drivers door. The interior is in decent shape however the original seat covers need to be replaced as they have shrunk from age and split at several seams. I did install temporary seat covers just to dress up the appearance. I have the original spare tire, jack and some manuals for the car. If you have been looking for one of these rare collectable classic cars then look no further as this is a great buy. With a little more TLC this car will be quite a showpiece.
