Vehicle Detail

This beautiful 1997 Porsche Carrera S is a rare wide body 993. Only 3,714 were produced worldwide, 1,752 or which were imported into the US. In addition to being the last iteration of the air-cooled engine, the Carrera S is often regarded as the best looking 911 Porsche ever made. I purchased this car in 2007 with 43,357 miles on the clock and have lovingly driven and cared for it over the past 11 years. It has been garaged, covered, and regularly detailed. All maintenance during my ownership was performed by Park Place Porsche in Dallas, and they know the car very well. The car currently has 87,947 miles on the clock and has been properly driven an average of approximately 4,200 miles per year since new. I have also driven the car on many cross-country road trips, including many between Texas and Colorado. Originally purchased at Carlsen Porsche in California in 1997, the car is optioned with leather seats, driver side power seats and 18 inch Porsche technology wheels. Literally no expense has been spared in properly maintaining this car and I have maintenance records spanning my entire 11 years of ownership. Specific maintenance items include a recent 90k service, at which time the belts, spark plugs and spark plug wires were replaced. All brake pads and front brake rotors were replaced 10k miles ago. Regular and documented oil and filter changes have been performed (Porsche Classic synthetic 10w60 motor oil). The driver side door check strap has been repaired (911 aficionados know this to be a weak link that must eventually be repaired). The valve covers and timing chain were re-sealed in 2017. Finally, the car recently had a full detail performed by Dallas Detail Werkz. The interior condition is excellent and the engine bay is immaculate, as is the original paint. Clean CarFax. The car also comes equipped with Bilstein PSS-9 coil overs, the highly desirable Porsche light weight (LWF) flywheel (originally available from the factory), a limited slip differential (originally available from the factory), Porsche Classic radio with Satellite and GPS (original factory radio included), clear-bra protection over the front bumper and both rearview mirror housings, and Bridgestone S-04 Pole Position tires with lots of tread life left. Also included in the sale are two sets of keys, two car covers, maintenance records, a Porsche battery conditioner and Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. I am a highly reluctant seller but need to thin the fleet to make space. This Carrera S has been my baby for over a decade and I’ll miss it tremendously. It is in immaculate condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, and needs nothing. I hope it goes to a good home! Please call Jeff at (214) 808-4989 or email via eBay with questions, as I am happy to discuss the car in detail. Serious inquiries only.
