(california registration to go with the sale for documentation etc) He had a restoration done to the car in 1988. This included new seat covers and door panels (headliner is still original as usable but has some stains etc) He had the car painted with a quality paint that still shines and looks great today. the paint is the original factory color. if you get closer than 10 feet, you can pick up minor scratches/wear etc, If you were to use it as a daily driver or cars show/car cruise you would leave it in my opinion. looks pretty good, make sure to watch the video and pics to see what it is. The tires show some dry rot but have good tubes and hold air and are usable the way they are with decent tred etc. This car still retains the crank cover in the front valance along with window shade in the rear window. it has the stop light and spare tire carrier. the wood steering wheel shows like it was new. the headlights and interior light work. the bumpers look good. the key was lost at one time (you can get another key easy if you want) the car starts with a switch that turns on and off for power. Pull the choke all the way out, hit the floor starter, the car fires right up every time with no knocks misses or smoke. the previous owner added a air filter bracket mounted to the cowl with a flex tube going to the carb when he got it (he wanted to protect the carb from getting dirt in it ) you can keep it or remove it. the windows all crank up and down. this car has the wiper crank above the windshield. it has the door lock on the driver door. it retains the original floor "vin" tag next to the passenger seat along with the body by fisher tag under the cowl. The car drives and runs strong and does not over heat. we had it running a good 45 min for the video and we were really impressed by the drive. really a fun car. the 3 speed trans works great the way it should and the brakes work good. definitely a car you can buy and begin to use it right away with out putting money into it. it retains the 6 volt system with a good 6 volt battery (negative ground) . The car has a clean and clear matching numbers title ready to put in your name. while this car is not a number 1 , in my opinion a strong 3 and something you can start having fun with and making memories with right away.
