Selling my 1971 Ford Torino. Was planning on building a pro-touring car, but didn't finish and now have other priorities, so am selling as is. The Good:Professionally-installed coil-over suspensionNarrowed Ford 9-in rear-end with 3.89 gears and new posi moly axles Wilwood manual disc brakes all aroundBoze Forged aluminum wheels; 18" front; 19" back351 Cleveland with headers MSD distributor and coilShaker hoodEngine starts and runs good, transmission shifts well, interior is clean, everything works including hide-away headlights. The Bad:Engine smokes a little on start, probably needs valve seals but I never looked into it because I was planning an engine swap. Transmission shifts well and drives good but has a minor leak; again, was planning a swap. Rear quarter panels have been repaired at some point and have a few cracks in the body fillerPaint job looks good from 10 feet, but isn't the best. Bumpers need to be rechromedSome minor rust on bottom of the doors and surface rust underneath but floorpans are solid. Car has a great start as a pro-touring build, but is also a head-turner, a good daily driver and fun to cruise as it sits. Feel free to message me with any questions.
