Up for grabs is a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 ST Quad Cab (4 doors) Short Bed 2WD 5.2L V8 OHV 16V with a CLEAN and CLEAR TITLE! At time of posting, it has 162,000 miles. Recently got a new battery and oil change. It also recently passed it's Texas State inspection. This sale is FINAL! It's highly recommended that you come and inspect it yourself (or hire a trusted mechanic) to understand it's worth and condition. It's NOT A LEMON, but keep in mind it is 17 years old. If you win the auction, you're expected to leave a $280 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of winning the auction. Truck is located in El Paso, Texas. If you are local, we can meet/exchange after the auction closes. If you are not local and are interested in having the vehicle shipped, there are a number of transportation companies that would gladly assist you with this. They range in price, but keep in mind the further you are, the more expensive it will be. Flaws, Recommendations, Cosmetics:These are items that I would probably have fixed/repaired if I was going to keep it: Replace the tint on the front drivers side and passengers side windows.Have the stereo repaired/replaced. CDs occasionally get stuck coming out.Have the keyless entry repaired/replaced. It's wired, but it was disabled a few months ago because the alarm was too sensitive.Replace the front drivers side tire.Dent on bumper (rear passenger side) needs to be "banged out."There are a few SMALL rust spots on the top and one on the drivers side door... maybe 1 cm in diameter.Paint flaking in a few spots.... it's 17 years old and still have the original paint, so that's expected! Aside from these issues mentioned above, I haven't had any issues with the vehicle. From my understanding, I am the second owner. The first owner was a retired engineer who did most of the mechanical, oil changes, etc. himself. He bought the truck new, and sold it to me in 2013. I've since kept up with the maintenance. The bed liner was recently taken out. As you can see in the photos, the truck bed is in pretty decent shape. From my understanding, the previous owner always had one in place.
