Vehicle Detail
2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 High Roof Extended Cargo Van (170" Wheelbase) Priced to sell. It is a $53,000 van. Well maintained, very clean, in very good condition. 300 + Highway miles only. Do not be scare from the miles, we have owned and driven these Sprinters with more than 600K Miles. This van has never been involved in an accident. This van would work awesome as a starter van or as an addition to existing fleet, construction contractor or food truck conversion. The largest van on the market - 16'. The expediters out there know what I'm talking, every inch count. Best payload!!! All maintenance was performed by the fleet schedule. The van is still in service. New tires Michelin and brand new alternator were installed recently. Tires in warranty. Interior options: Power windows, locks and mirrors, Cruise Control, FM, CD, Back up camera integrated with the rear view mirror, a lot of storage and cup holders. LED lighting for cargo area. Remote locks key. The steering wheel and the front seat are just fine. They are not damaged. Just the pictures were blurry, will retake them tomorrow with engine pictures and will post them. What all new parts have been replaced on the sprinter? Has turbo been repaired or replaced? Has transmission been repaired or replaced? The Transmission is in good shape. The oil and the connector were changed in December. Oil was still red. No repairs has been done. No repairs on the turbo either. New alternator and new tires are the most recent new parts = $2,250 I was just told that the battery is replaced last year. So here is $500 more. There is only one battery, someone asked me earlier for two batteries. Is A/C working?Of course it is working. You can't sent this van to TX or AZ without A/C in the summer. You'll kill the driver. Smoking? Smoking is not allowed in our vans. Rust? There is no rust whatsoever. We run it in TX and MO for most of the time. Also, for those of you who knows the business know that the diesel down there is a lot better. So the engine is very quiet. 2012 - which edition? It is the second edition of 2012. I think the van is produced in September. The electronics are slightly different. The computer readings are also slightly different. The most common thing is probably the fuel filter. From 2012 second edition up to now the fuel filter is with water separation sensor and from 2012 second edition the Load-adaptive electronic stability program(ESP) became standard package.
