Vehicle Detail

For sale is a very nice 2006 GMC Savana Explorer Conversion Van. This van has 191,400 miles and drives absolutely great. In the past 6 months I have replaced the battery (heaviest duty available), brand new brakes on all 4 corners, 4 brand new tires, new center caps for the wheels, changed the rear differential fluid, new serpentine belt, added a receiver hitch (for hauling bicycles, I have never pulled a trailer with this van), and the transmission was rebuilt at 184,000 miles ($1,800 expense). Van drives down the road flawlessly and I would not hesitate to drive this van cross country today. This is a very desirable Explorer brand conversion, and has a rear TV/DVD, center row captians chairs, rear bench seat that electrically folds into a bed, front and rear HVAC (with rear controls), touch screen radio with sirius/XM, navigation, and back up camera (needs navigation disc). I have owned a couple of these raised roof conversion vans in the past, and this van is by far the nicest for the price you will find anywhere. It has the 5.3 liter LS1 motor and 4L60E transmission which was the reason I chose this over others. The 5.3 motor is GMs flagship motor for full size trucks and I have averaged about 17.5 mpg during my travels. Parts for this drivetrain are cheap and plentiful, and although this van has never let me down, I like the peace of mind of knowing I can easily find parts wherever I may be. Reason for selling is I purchased this van to go on a couple road trips, have taken the trips, and now the van is sitting more than I like. There is a very slight exhaust leak tick on cold start up for a couple minutes, the side door lock sometimes doesn't like to unlock with the other doors (have to open from inside about 1/2 the time), plastics on top of bumpers are a little faded from the sun, few small dings and scratches here and there, but nothing major at all. This van starts, runs, shifts, drives, stops, turns, heats, and cools just like it is supposed to. Van appears to be all original paintwork, and the clear coat is in good condition throughout (even on the raised fiberglass roof). Clean and clear title in my name, no liens, no funny business at all, 2 keys included. If you are looking for a conversion van please check this one out, it is truly ready to drive today. Call or text 417-818-6901 with questions. Van is listed for sale locally and the auction may end at any time. $1,000 deposit due within 48 hours of winning bid and full amount due within 7 day by pay pal, wire, cash, or certified funds. No warranty expressed or implied. Buyer responsible for shipping. I will make a reasonable effort to help coordinate with a shipper. I have represented this vehicle to the best of my knowledge in this listing but this is a used vehicle and has small scratches, dents, and/or dings. If you would like any additional photos please ask before bidding.
