1966 mustang, not a GT, 289/302 automaticNice solid car, originally a yellow car, but painted this silver color and added black interior No power steering, no power brakes Runs and drives, but just don't drive much and car sits in storage and has for some timeYears ago many panels replaced, quarters, floors, see pics as floors and frames are very solid only showing surface rust, no holes in floor and no rusted out frame rails and spring mounts, no roof or window leaksNew brakes all aroundNew window gasketsNew interior in past few yearsNew gas tank, fuel linesNew heater box and heater core, heater hoses and radiator hosesNew tranny coolerNew wire harness for headlights,engine compartmentNew front tires, new radiator, water pump, fuel pump, battery points, carb rebuild, newer exhaust and headers Good driver for cruising, just a basic V8 with headers, but not to fast that it will get you or any younger drivers in too much trouble Note: this is a driver car, not a show car and not an untouched original. This car has had many things done to it and been repainted, so most of the originality is gone and should be considered more a resto mod. The pictures really make the car look nicer than it is. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice car but it is hobby car and needs some minor work here and there. So, please consider before bidding. Would be a great entry level car for one wanting to get into the hobby. Needs:Kick down cable for passing gearPassenger door won't open from outsideTranny tail shaft seal leaks a little if sits too longRear tires are getting worn down, but still some miles left in themAnd a few cosmetic things here and there, door jambs are painted black not body color, trunk weather strip, like original radio is not functioning and other misc things too small to list. Note this car is for sale locally, in as is no warranty condition, and I reserve the right to end auction at anytime.
