This is a matching numbers late 1977 or early '78 Laverda 1000 Jarama that I bought last year. The last time it was on the road was somewhere in the 1980's and it was put aside because it stopped providing spark to the plugs. The previous owner was unable to figure it out and got tired of messing with it so he sold it a couple of years back. When I got it I rebuilt the carbs, changed the oil, added a new battery and replaced the Bosch ignition system along with the spark plugs. Also gave it a valve adjustment, rebuilt the front forks and a few other things to make it right. I've ridden several laverda triples in my life and I have to say this bike screams through the revs. All lights, horn and switches are completely functional. It has a rare and period correct Don Vesco Rabid Transit fairing with a cool '70's paint scheme. Jarama green can be seen underneath tank, sidecovers and rear cowl indicating it left the factory as one. As this green was only found on a Jarama. The tank is in very nice shape with no dings or dents, the left sidecover has a pretty decent crack. Fairing has a few scratches here and there mainly from being pushed around in a garage or shop. This bike sounds and looks amazing and turns heads everywhere it goes. Currently has exactly 12,734 miles and it may have more before end of auction. This bike can be easily returned back to original if wanted. I will post a link to a video of this bike running. Good luck bidding
