** I am advertising this classic GT for a close friend. This will be a PRIVATE PARTY sale between the buyer and owner. This is not one of my dealership cars. He is retiring and moving to Az. 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback 59k original miles on this Factory GT. All original, totally stock and correct. 2 owner car. Current owner has owned the car for 46 years. Built at the San Jose, Ca. Ford plant and spent its whole life within 50 miles of where it was built. Springtime Yellow with Black interior. 289ci A code, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering Quick Ratio Steering BoxFront Disc Brakes, Styled Steel Wheels with Firestone Dual Red Line tires. The car has always been in original and in excellent condition.In 1990 the current owner wanted to bring the car to like new condition The car was completely taken apart and all trim removed.The car was stripped to bare metal and painted professionally with Sikkens (German paint) the original Springtime Yellow. All the chrome trim is original and in beautiful condition. It was polished and reinstalled after the repaint. After the repaint all the rubber trim around windows and doors was replaced with new. All body panels are original. No bodywork or rust. The body is very straight and always has been. When the car was apart for the repaint, the engine, transmission and rear end were removed. The engine, transmission and rear end have less then 1,000 miles on complete rebuild. They are all original to the car. The engine compartment looks better then new. The underside of the car has NOT been restored and is in excellent original condition. Please see pictures. Everything has been kept as original as possible. New stock shocks and exhaust. Inside only the front seats have been recovered. New gauge bezels were also installed. Other then these 2 items the rest of the interior is original and in excellent condition. No pitting in the interior chrome trim. Even the original carpets look new. The dash, door panels, center console look new. They are original and have not been redone. Original radio (still works, but is staticky) with 8 Track and Cassette adaptor. While this is an older restoration it still looks like new. Less than 1,000 miles since this restoration. It is driven to local car shows and events. The car has been kept under a cover in a climate-controlled garage This has to be one of the nicest ORIGINAL factory GT's available!
