Vehicle Detail
READ BEFORE YOU BID.....This vehicle is priced to sell. The Camper/topper shell is worth $400 alone.... This car WILL run but needs a replacement battery. Due to it being on the side of the house for a month the battery did die. But it will start with a replacement battery... The Front left tire is flat so you would need to bring a tire or tow it home. The car interior is fine but shows some minor wear due to the age. No tears or rips in the seats. Small space behind the seats for extra storage. The Air conditioner does not work and probably just needs Freon but I never cared to check because I never needed to utilize it. The truck will start and runs well and I have given it checkups and fixed any minor problems.... As you can see in the photos, there are some rust spots where the metal has been compromised. I am not the original owner so I am not sure how that happened. The bottom of the truck is rusted because a previous owner was rumored to have had water damage. A year or so back, I was hauling a full load in the entire back weighing it down tremendously. The highway I was on was really bad and I ran over a pot hole that I could not avoid. It did not damage the wheels or anything but what it did was shoot part of the frame through the back bed. The plastic protective coating actually slowed it down but due to all the weight it did push through and would need to be fixed. This does NOT keep the vehicle from being able to drive as you can see in the pictures of the rear right tire, the vehicle is set high above the frame so it is no where near the tire and will not even come close to it while driving. I am sorry that I forgot but like I said, I only really drove this truck when I needed to haul things (And that was not very often). Even with this said, this vehicle is still worth the price and that is why I stated that I am selling it basically for parts or for someone who may drive it small amounts locally. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CROSS COUNTRY VEHICLE THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.... ALL SALES ARE FINAL.... Also, I was attempting to use my air compressor to try and fill the front flat tire but it was not working. So if you bring an air compressor, you can try to fill it. But I would Still tell you to bring a donut or spare if you are not going to have it towed. So I am selling this truck basically for the parts and for a truck that someonne could use on local jobs. The topper can be removed and this is an extended cab with fiberglass protection shielding the truck bed... Since the speedometer is digital and the battery is dead, I do not know the exact mileage but it is at least 160,000 + but not over 200,000. Has had many repairs done when I received it and worked well. I just got a smaller truck that has better gas mileage and that is why I stopped using it.... This truck is sold AS IS and If you bring your own battery ( And some gas cleaner) you will see it will start up right away.... This truck will run (With a replacement battery and some fuel cleaner) and the engine runs pretty darned great for such an old truck. There is no smoke or rattles and will start up right away. This vehicle is for anyone who wants to make a profit selling parts or using it for very small jobs locally. It is not in the best condition for a regular work truck. So like I stated, this truck is being sold as is so PLEASE do not bid if you did not read this. I have 3 other vehicles and rarely used this one so that is why I am selling it. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME FOR MY PERSONAL INFORMATION BEFORE THE AUCTION... We are NOT allowed to give that out until the auction closes.... I had this auction before and could have sold it for much higher as there were bidders, but I forgot to mention the truck bed situation and instead of ignoring it and being a dishonest seller, I deleted all the bidders and am starting over so there are no surprises. I bid on ebay all the time and I DESPISE dishonest sellers. I am not one of them and chose to start this over instead of a customer not being happy because I honestly forgot something that could be important. So with that being said, If you are expecting an almost 20 year old truck to perform like a 5 year old one, PLEASE DO NOT BID.... On Feb-19-18 at 09:39:28 PST, seller added the following information:
