For sale is my 1987 GL1200I.I bought it in 2013 for a trip from Philadelphia to Florida in March of 2014.The bike had 19,000 miles on it in 2013 and now has 31,000. After riding the 1200 I decided to try a 1500 and bought two 1990 GL1500SE wings. I sold one of them; the other is a keeper. I have a nice VLX600CD for scooting around the city and the 1200 is a nice fit between the 1500 and the 600 but I guess I could argue that I also need a lot of bikes of different displacements and styles. Since purchasing the bike I've changed the engine oil, fork oil, and rear gear oil three times with synthetic. I also flushed the hydraulic fluid for the brakes and clutch.I installed NGK Iridium plugs, a new air filter, flushed the coolant with distilled water and refilled with Honda coolant, and replaced the radiator hoses. The bike is 99% stock and has no crash damage. There are no chrome or lighted accessories on it and never were. This is as original as a 1200 came from the showroom except for a front fender extension.It's a great foundation for a total restoration. I'd like to see it go to a buyer that wishes to take it to pristine original condition but, I of course can't control that. Please note that I do have all of the body parts. I took them off for Summer riding and have using one of my GL1500SEs during the Fall. Ed
